...who, where, what is Onlinebandit all about ...
The Onlinebandit (short "OB") is a gaming site where you can just unchain your inner gambler and NOT loose money in the process. The games are absolutely FREE of charge; all you have to do is simply download the software at the front page of this website in your own language. Onlinebandit only takes up 15.5 MB and is 100 % clear of Spyware and virus.
The Onlinebandit is run by volunteers who are all working hard to come up with new ideas, events, graphics, games etc. to make the site better for you, the users.
At OB you can play the multiplayer games: Chitris, Backgammon, Yatzy, Puzzle, Painted Yatzy and Ludo, but more games are coming up the near future :-). You can chat with all the other users in the games and in the general chat. We have tourneys, events and competitions all the time, and anyone can join in. In addition to this we also have seven fun singleplayer games, debate forum, webcam site, profiles, private chat rooms, preview games and much more. Join our OB family and hang out with new friends.
A few fun, yet worthless, facts about Onlinebandit: - The very first Onlinebandit was born in 1999 (Chitris)
- A random girl at a youth magazine in Denmark, Copenhagen selected the colour of OB. She picked this characteristic OB-yellow from a colour-wheel, and when we asked her why she picked that colour she replied: "It has the same colour as the busses in Copenhagen!". So, OB is yellow because of the colour of the busses in Copenhagen.
- The top user - measured in total online time - has spent more than 11.000 hours at OB. That’s a lot... That’s more than 458 days total!!
- Unlike other gaming sites, the majority (about 65%) of the users are women.
- Yatzy /Yathzee is by far the most played game. And the most simple to make. :-
- We know of eight OB-kids (mom and dad found each other at OB, the rest we know nothing about, heheh)
- OB has in total more than 100 VIP/admin/Sysop commands (like /tell, /time /kick etc) - that’s more than MS-DOS 6.22
- On an average day, Onlinebandit get 100-200 new users.
- At Onlinebandit we have boobs and a little butt as icons on the chat. The owner has been asked more than a hundred times to remove them. But(t) he won’t, because as he says: “it’s a part of the OB charm – remember: We are onlineBANDITS :-)”
